The Devil is in the Details

Work in progress
Sometimes the most important use of faux is to hide unsightly elements.  When done well, it's truly magic- it makes them disappear!  I thought I might feature some of these meticulous details since their existence is virtually ignored by definition.  Still, no finish can be called finished without them.

Making the pipes "go away".  It's tempting to go crazy with detail when working with such a small canvas but really key to keep it simple.  The pipes can't be more interesting than the wood!
Finished? Maybe one more layer...
